note to self: when next frying ramen, toss the mushrooms in earlier so they fry more. Mmm, fried mushrooms.
I wonder if brussels sprouts will fry. Hey friendslist, anybody know cool things to do with brussels sprouts? There was a sale and now I have a lot.

These aren't super accurate instructions but you get the general idea.
Or you could always just leave out the bacon and enjoy the sprouts after cooked in chicken broth.

Also MMM-MMMM FRIED MUSHROOMS
What else would you even do with them?
Eat 'em raw?
Boil 'em?
Sautee?
That is all very silly ideas presented as jokes, because frying is how you cook (mushrooms).

yeah wait isn't sauteeing basically frying without the oil? But mushrooms without bacon is also unusual so they're frying in the bacon grease anyway.

Also, there are tons of awesome things to do with mushrooms that do not involve the stove-top.
They involve filling them with delicious cheese and herbs and baking them.
