Library Shenanigans 3: Day of Reckoning

Gladiator-At-Law, by Pohl - we have two copies! How do we have two copies of GLADIATOR-AT-LAW.

The Three-Legged Hootch Dancer, by Resnick - Cover and title combo

The Red Spider - Doc Savage, by Robison - for the cover:

And another one: "What- what is that? It's like a half-naked guy with a fishbowl on his head. And a sword."

We had three copies of that.

Because it's AWESOME. See also: The Space Merchants. (note: both not by Pohl alone, but Pohl and Kornbluth)

Gladiator-at-Law is also awesome. What does it say about my childhood that I grew up on the awesomest books in the cusfs library?

I like the idea of the two most evil creatures on God's green earth - communists and spiders - combined into one, personally.

GLADIATOR AT LAW

Gladiator-at-Law? For srs? Such a thing exists?

I HAVE to see if our library has it. I don't know a thing about it, but if it is at ALL like the title, then it seems Apollo Justice will have some SERIOUS COMPETITION to contend with. POINTY competition!

Gladiator-at-Law.
