...jeez.

I just finished reading a 200-page German novel. It took me about a week.

I say this often, but that's because it still boggles: I didn't know six words in German last June.

Celebratory TwiPri time.

You are a determined and hard-working person.

Whoa, what was this school's teaching technique?
But I also assume you have a natural knack for languages =)

It was that summer thing I did, where they don't allow you to speak English (or anything else but German) and give you four hours of classes and three hours of extracurriculars a day. Basically. This class has just been 'read this horrifying piece of literature for this week', as its official title is The Child In German Lit. And believe me, The Child is not having a good time in there.

That's all kinds of awesome.

Also, why for I no longer get to be friends w/ you? :(

Because you never visit =(

no srsly, I did the FL-trimming thing just because I'm not on LJ as often as I used to be and wanted a shorter reading list. Nothin' personal.

Wooo! Good jorb with the German. You polyglot person, you! And in German...that is just a crazy language, what with all the agglutinated compounds and stuffs. You seem to like the languages that love to string looong words together. XD

I'll probably have to be reading a book in French all next week. That's gonna be fun. bleh. :P
