Why do you assume no-one watching you has ever seen a Disney movie before?
Or for that matter read a fairy tale.
You're not making yourself more accessible; you're just giving the impression you think your audience is full of idiots.
That said: good lights. Good water, good hair. Gender politics... well, for Disney, on the up. Mother/daughter dynamic... interesting. I enjoyed bits and parts. When they shut up all the actors and told the story with sound and graphic, they did very well.
But by god do they need a new lyricist.
