Confessions
Jan. 23rd, 2007 11:38 pmFrom what I've read so far, Saint Augustine's Confessions is kind of sick. It's a long, mildly terrifying ramble addressed to God, written by a man honestly attempting to take all of the Bible literally all at once.
Yea.
Looks like there's going to be a lot more of 'I hurt myself because I love you, so that you may love me' than what I've seen so far. Cutters for Jesus, srsly.
But you know, after having just finished Phoenix Wright...
( ... some of these passages just read silly. )

p.s. Frying bread in butta does not work, though it does still make delicious. Frying bread that's already had some garlic salt shaken into it in the afore-tried canola oil works like awesome and uNF that's good.
