First day of Japanese 4. We read a handout on self-introductions.

It was the same handout we read at the beginning of fall classes in ICU last year.

Same one at the beginning of summer classes in ICU directly preceding.

SAME ONE WE DID AT THE BEGINNING OF LEVEL 3.

The syllabus also looks identical to ICU. And the pace of my fellow students is equivalent to or LESS THAN my compadres from the end of 3rd year.

Really do not want to repeat a semester of material okay. REALLY FUCKING DO NOT WANT.

.... good lord it's like every single class has to focus on that god forsaken self introduction. "getting to know you... even though the faces haven't really changed much and oh look we just needed filler for first day. have fun!" type bs is no fun. glad to hear you talked your way into a more challenging (yet interesting) class.
