That is very shiny. And wee, I watched it once and then pulled out the Japanese dictionaries and watched it a second time, using the pause button at all the on-screen text. :)

On that note, do you understand the どれほどの速さ in the text on-screen? Is it asking "If you live with that speed [the speed of falling cherry blossoms], will I be able to see you again?"

I think どれほど generally means 'how much', in this case "How far apart can we live for me to (still) be able to meet you again?" Not a phrase that goes well into English, so a more coherent phrasing: "How far apart can we go before we're separated forever?"

Or wait, I was reading 速い as 遠い for no good reason. XD; So, and this makes much more sense: "How fast do I have to live for me to be able to meet you again?" A throwback to Voices of a Distant Star where the couple was literally living at different speeds, I suppose.
