The Mentalist Season 2 - up to ep8

Overall it's very nice. Starting to employ new devices that weren't seen in season 1. Keeping up what made it good in the first place. Pulling things together and carrying long-term plots to consequence and - I believe - eventual conclusion.

Starting to rely a little heavily on the soundtrack. Which is an ultimately minor criticism, but it irks me when a show otherwise so good at managing its time just blows a minute or so on thundering music and dramatic shots.
