I have here, on the floor in front of me, a toolbox and a sewing box.
The toolbox contains a dozen screwdrivers, near as many pliers, several pairs of forceps, and a half-dozen items I have no name for. One is cast-iron and appears hand-forged.
The sewing kit has linen thread so old it's patterned with discoloration, and a long, long band of ~Pure Silk Taffeta~ that breaks apart at a touch, like dry toast. And a couple other things I can't name, like a thin tube of thick green paper wound around and around to be thicker in the middle and then glued there.
Plus the usual assortment of old lace.
And a corkscrew.
