Ffffffff

So apparently today was my day for nervous breakdowns + delayed culture shock!

I'm okay. More or less. I just- after this last week? Can you - any of you - try to imagine for a second what that week would have been like, if I'd had two extra hours of class every evening?

And not with kids. With adults. Which age group I've never taught before. And possibly without any more help than Co-Volunteer, who is Also Not A Trained Teacher.

Maybe you can see one reason why I broke down.

Beggar-children come up to me in the street every day. I need to start carrying candies or something so I have something to give them whenever Today's Chaperone reminds me not to hand them money.

Nobody's answering their phones this morning. Isn't that always the way.
