Travel is so much better with a friend to watch my back.

But then, there were many, many ways I could have made this trip more pleasant than it turned out to be.

Ah, well. I soldier on! It's my last thirty minutes in Japan, gaijin card handed in and everything.

Off to a new adventure. I'll get there somehow.
