There is a guy on this variety show, an engineer- electrical/mechanical engineer?
who spent 11 years building a giant robot in his garage.
Really seriously a working one, it moves. It is a helmet-beetle. He climbs in the cockpit and controls it with dials and stuff. As of now it only moves its legs and head a little, so it can edge forward but not srsly move. BUT HE IS WORKIN' ON IT ON THE SHOW WITH THE HOST.
But of course first the question the engineer is asked by the host is, natch: [Are you out to protect the world, or conquer it?]

IT MOOOOOOOOOVES. IT IS A GIANT FUCKING BEETLEBOT. YOU CAN FIT SIX ADULTS IN THE PASSENGER/LOADING CAR PLUS TWO IN THE COCKPIT. IT MOOOOOVES.
