-At one point I walked into a Berlin park and thought to myself: "HOW is this place so much like home!? Oh huh, nude sunbathers. Alright, maybe it's not quite like Texas." It still baffles me how Berlin manages to be so... Austinian.
-So what the heck actually happened to the coffin of King Friedrich Wilhelm II? I can only assume it's intentional.
-Dear Berlin: are all of your tall modern office-type skyscrapers REALLY lined up in an evenly-spaced row across the city, at uniform height? Because it sure looks that way from the top of the Dom.
-Do there exist other names for specific artistic subjects, as realized across countries and media, or is 'Pieta' unique in that regard?

-Why is the cheapest paper in Germany graph paper? I remember it being stunningly expensive in high school.
-What does the Bundestag DO when it rains? It doesn't seem like there's any extendable roof for the open dome at all.
-Where in the COMICS does the Joker break the fourth wall? I swear I saw it on Scans_daily, but I don't remember at all when this was.
-So if the 'red' variety of 'Berliner White' beer turns out to be strawberry-flavored, what does the 'green' variety taste like?
-You know what would be crazy? A cyborg magpie.
-So the comics box at the flea market has no Batman and one Superman (namely, the Unauthorized Biography of Lex Luthor) but loads of Green Arrow (Gruener Pfeil. I found this way more amusing than I should have.) My daybook holds my conclusion of at least three days prior that the Arrows would be way more popular in Berlin than the Supers, Bats, or even the Flashes. There's the nonpowered social-justice leftist-hippie image, themes of guilt and forgiveness, the uncertainty of the new generation, the visibility as opposed to the ever-hiding Bats, and plus they would totally ride bikes. What do I win?
