That was a sensational ending to a gorgeous game.

I have never felt so spoiled by a video game, and only rarely by any piece of storytelling. Everything I wanted, it gave, and it kept giving more. I drowned in it, reveled in it, forgot for brief moments that there existed a world outside.

Games like this are why I started playing. They're more difficult to come by now– or maybe I'm just more jaded, and harder to uproot.

It's a glorious experience every time.
