Hahaha okay. Went out to dinner and had, among other things, a slice of Berry Cake for dessert. This is a misleading name, as it is in fact more chocolate than berry. It is stuffed with raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries though. So. The three different kinds of white chocolate? Forgiven.
I couldn't eat it all. I could barely eat HALF. Why? The icing.
Me, queen of dessert, undone by icing. I know. But seriously! This stuff was described as White Chocolate Cream Cheese Icing. I assumed (incorrectly) that this meant ICING, as in made from heavy cream and powdered sugar, flavored with chocolate and cream cheese. I was not expecting it to be SOLID CREAM CHEESE. That also incidentally tasted like chocolate.
You try sinking your teeth into a block of cream cheese. And then discovering it's SO GOOD you can't stand to not eat it. So now I have a to-go box in the fridge with half of this cake left.
