GRRR.

Getting a ringtone into this phone is proving to be about six times more difficult than I'd expected. By any means- download, coding, WHATEVER.

It doesn't need to be this difficult, people! I spent half an hour dinking around on my cheap, shitty Japanese cell and immediately discovered an easy way to compose the entire Opera theme using only sheet music!! Fuck CODES, fuck downloads of nothing but pop shit, fuck this!

*edit: I have at least figured out that in the composer, every note consists of four characters. Two of these are not immediately accesible. MOTHERFUCKERWHAT.

*ETA: Victoly.

It keeps surprising me. 94-96.

Cut for ep95 spoilers. )

I am also really fuckin' impressed at the entire Alabasta setup. Rain powder. World Government involvement and noninvolvement. Rebels, imperials, criminals, Marines, pirates. Weapons smugglers. How to make people abandon a city. Water politics, for crying out loud! Since when do the Japanese think about water politics? Oda do some research for this?

He definitely spent a good long time setting EVERYTHING up before he started Luffy out. I really like that. I enjoy feeling as if there is an established world set and ready for our heroes to explore, and it's far preferable to that nagging suspicion that the author is making it up as he goes along.

Of course, that then begs the question "Who PLANS AHEAD things like a seven-form shapeshifting reindeer-human and the FagFag Fruit?" To which the only answer is: a freakin' genius. That's who.
