Date: 2006-12-08 03:39 pm (UTC)As for the rest, people seem to like movie 4, which I found kinda so-so. I think I even enjoyed movie 5 somewhat more.
7 is like the king of terribles though. Except with tits. ALL OVER THE PLACE. >:(

Date: 2006-12-08 10:26 pm (UTC)Gustyman knows of what he speaks- I thought Movie 6 was fan-fucking-tastic. It's super-different, though. Like FLCL and Looney Tunes had hilarious pirate babies.
Movie 5 was indeed falsely advertised as Luffy vs. Zoro, which they did back in episode 66 anyway. I still thought it was actually pretty okay, in the sense of something fun and brainless to watch when you want to kill a little time. Also I have a soft spot for baby Zoro, YMMV.
I adore movie 4. Its fight scenes are the best of the bunch, bar none. Smoothly and beautifully animated, it felt like a full feature of the same stuff that made the G-8 arc worth watching.
Movie 3 is fluff; if you like Chopper you probably want to see it once. Nami has the BEST dress in that one. Seki Tomokazu voices a villain. I think that's about as many good things as I can say about it.
Movie 2 was GREAT fun back before I'd actually gotten into the Grand Line. Now I look back at it, and from this perspective it's kinda bland. I loved it when I was still at that post-Arlong Park stage of things.
Movie 1 was like... like eating paper. There's nothing inherently terrible about it, but why would you?
I don't know a thing about 8 except that it's in Alabasta, which I'm currently embroiled in ficcing for so I hope it's not totally horrible.
